Welcome to my blog! I'm Joanna Munster. I am a botanical artist who is self-taught in watercolor techniques for 10 years. Additionally, I have a passion for using colored pencils, graphite pencils, and gouache in my artwork. My subjects range from flowers, turtles, and butterflies to cityscapes. The purpose of this new space and website is to share my expertise, offer tutorials to support your development as an artist, and showcase my artwork for sale.
In January 2024, I started a new course at the Society of Botanical Artists School, which offers a 27-month program. Having long admired the botanical art of the old masters, I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from this exceptional school. Stay tuned for updates as I share some of my assignments in the coming months.
Some background information about me: I was the owner of Inspired by Stamping for a decade, working as an illustrator and designer in the card making sector.

As autumn arrived, my husband and I entered the empty nest stage, allowing me more time to explore new opportunities. Some of the opportunities available soon is to provide fresh tutorials on painting, working with graphite, and using colored pencils.
